Rum の意見

How’re you holding up, big guy?

…I cannot say. Speaking candidly, I feel somewhat rudderless.

Oh not you too Rum! I mean, come on! You’re our Admiral after all. We could use your leadership right now.

I’m sorry lieutenant but I cannot. You each have so much to lose. I cannot hope to advise you.

But… what about your home? …your crew?

…

In truth, our numbers had already dwindled to a flicker. Young Jean informed me that by the time he was summoned to this place… he was the last of our crew.

You should have said something. I’m so sorry Rum.

I thank you for your kindness but, no... There was nothing to be done and nothing to be said. Grief and I are already well acquainted, I have learnt to greet her as an old friend.

But as for you lot…? now there’s a different story.

This is not my decision to make, Milk. But it is my fight. Whatever you decide, I will stand beside you at the ready.

Thank you Admiral.

At ease, lieutenant.
