About this wiki
What this is
maguscircle.wiki is an unofficial fan wiki for The Magus Circle, a game made by By Witchlight. This wiki is made by players, for players.
The numbers on this wiki match game version 1.1.2, build 25818671. Where the text on screen and the numbers in the game disagree, the page shows both. Where the game has no player sentence for an effect, the page writes that effect from the numbers.
This site is not affiliated with By Witchlight, and it is not endorsed by them. All game names, text and art belong to their makers and are shown here to document the game.
Where the numbers come from
Numbers on each page match this build. A page names what the game does, not a guess from another wiki.
| Game version | 1.1.2 |
| Build number | 25818671 |
| Text this build loads | The full game's text |
| Languages this build ships text in | English, Japanese, Korean |
The site is in English first. The game also ships its text in the other languages listed above, so those versions of the site can follow later.
Each tracked build and what it changed is listed on the What's new page.
Spoilers, and the two switches
This wiki documents everything the build holds, including the whole story. On your first visit it asks once whether you want that hidden. You can change the answer at any time in Settings in the sidebar, under Spoilers.
Hide unreleased covers anything in this build that nothing in a run can reach. This build is the full game's content, not a cut demo, so nothing on the site is marked that way right now and the switch covers nothing. It stays because a demo build, or placeholder art, would need it.
Hide story spoilers is the one that matters here. It covers story scenes and dialogue, which mage is unlocked by what, which door a scene opens, and boss identities. Nearly everything a first playthrough would rather find on its own sits behind this one.
A covered block is never removed, only covered: click it to read it. Remember reveals keeps whatever you uncovered uncovered on your next visit. With both switches off, nothing on the site is hidden.
Your answer is kept in your own browser. It is never sent anywhere.
How to read the numbers
Numbers on entity pages are the game's base values: what a spell, card or enemy starts at, before any card, perk or tarot change applies to it.
A plus or minus sign in front of a perk value is added by this wiki so the direction is obvious at a glance. The game shows the size of the change without the sign. The size itself is the game's own number, untouched.
A percent sign means the value scales what you already have. No percent sign means it is added flat.
For most perks the game does not ship a written sentence at all, so this wiki builds the sentence from the same three things the game uses: what is changed, how it is changed, and by how much.
Where the build ships no value for something, the line is left out rather than filled with a guess. Anything not reachable in this build is marked, not deleted.

Your settings stay in this browser and are not sent to a server. That is the two spoiler switches, which spoilers you uncovered, and small layout choices such as a folded sidebar.
