The scene

Anchan

Thank you all for gathering here today. You must be wondering why I have summoned you.

Milk

Anchan the circle is literally falling apart as we speak. We need to go. Now.

Anchan

That is exactly why this is an urgent occasion. Don’t worry, I hope to keep my funeral brief.

Chicha

YOUR WHAT!?!

Coffee

Ah. The immortality curse.

Matcha

…It can’t be lifted but without mana… it’s powerless.

Anchan

Surprise!

Milk

I didn’t… we didn’t realize.

Matcha

I did. And… so did Anchan. …She wouldn’t let me say.

Milk

You knew this would happen?? But- I thought you were doing better I thought we agreed that-

Matcha

Milk, it’s okay. Just let her speak.

Anchan

Thank you my dear.

Anchan

*ahem.*

Anchan

It is rare that one has the opportunity to prepare for their own end. It is rarer still to speak at your own funeral. For this, I am very grateful.

Anchan

I have lived many years. Many long, empty years. Years where I resented my own existence. Where I hated the simple act of being alive.

Anchan

It was only until I met each of you that I began to understand what makes time worth spending, and life worth living.

Anchan

It is best not to give away what you have until you understand its worth.

Anchan

I understand now.

Anchan

Thank you.

Anchan I-

Anchan

It is okay child. I know. I promise, I know.

Milk

Anchan

Now leave me to die in peace. I do not want a tomb crowded with corpses of petals and wax.

Rum

It was an honor to serve alongside you Madam. May you rest in peace.

Anchan

I fully intend on it.
