Nothing in the hub sets this scene off, and nothing in the game changes when it ends. It runs from the story itself.
No act list names this scene, so a run does not place it in an act. The scene number above is its slot in the full story list, not the order you meet it in a run.

The scene
RumFinal inspections are all clear. We have everything we need for battle.
ChichaCool, so uhh- remind me what we’re actually like… doing?
MatchaIn short, the planets we’ve been fighting on form a constellation. We’ll need to carve a sigil on each celestial body, creating a macro sigil through space.
ChichaA MEGA SIGIL!
MatchaSure. Of course, we'll then need to protect each sigil until all of them are complete at once.
RumQuite the challenge.
MilkBut that’s not all.
CoffeeIt’s not?
MatchaNot even close. The constellation isn’t its own spell, it's more of a magnifier, almost like one of Chicha’s amps.
ChichaCool!
MatchaExcept this amp requires a sacrifice.
Chicha@#$%!
MatchaAs the circle explained, the constellation will draw all the mana of a single mage, so that they may cast a single spell amplified across the entire cosmos.
CoffeeThe final sigil.
MilkThe sigil we agreed to cast. We choose how this ends Coffee, no one else.
RumAnd we are agreed, yes?
Coffee…I suppose so.
ChichaI’m in.
MatchaAs am I.
AnchanShould be entertaining if nothing else.
MilkAlright then, lets do this.
