The scene
MilkMay I tell you a secret?
AnchanAlways, my dear.
MilkI’m not supposed to be here.
AnchanIs that so?
Milk…
MilkEveryone was invited here.
AnchanBut not you.
MilkNo. I mean, yes. I… I don’t know. …just sort of barged in.
AnchanI see.
Milk…do you?
AnchanInvitations to the circle have historically been extended to figures of generational talent.
Milkyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. Like I said, not supposed to be here.
Anchan“Here” is no ordinary place child. To barge into such a house as this is sufficiently miraculous in its own right. Your invitation is self-evident.
MilkOh. Umm… thanks?
AnchanYou are welcome. Worry less child. It does you no good.
MilkI’ll try.
